Fully ripened dried peas of a Yellow Pea variety.

The peas are harvested when fully matured and dry. All peas are of the species Pisum Sativum.

The skin of the pea is removed and then the pea is split along the cotyledon into two halves.

After soaking and cooking, they shall have the normal texture, flavour and odour of good quality split peas.
