Quick frozen corn on the cob is the product prepared by an appropriate freezing process from fresh, clean, sound, immature cobs produced from the plant Zea mays, including supersweet varieties.
The cobs are trimmed, and may or may not be cut. The process shall ensure stability of colour and flavour and the product temperature shall not be warmer than -18ºC after thermal stabilisation.
